Sharon Smith is a strategist and organisational management professional.  She began her career in banking and superannuation, primarily in strategy development, change management and Board secretariat roles, with time in office management and as a certified financial adviser.   She joined environmental and social charity, Wildcare Tasmania, as CEO for five years and remains committed to working for not for profits that bring people together around worthwhile causes.  

She has a love of nature and leads a landcare group creating a wildlife corridor by revegetating native species and enjoys habitat gardening on her small acreage.

Growing up, she attained her A.Mus.A in piano, with her first teenage job being a restaurant pianist.  She founded Sunshine Music, teaching piano and running group music classes, when her children were young.  She is a regular orchestra goer and is delighted to be part of the Lutruwita Art Orchestra team.
