Lutruwita Art Orchestra

The LAO is a diverse ensemble of musicians who collaborate and create through improvisation. We make a platform for creating a uniquely Tasmanian sonic culture through our diversity in instrumentation, musical cultures and radical fusion.

Mission

To be the primary ensemble in Lutruwita for the representation and development of diversity (in all its forms) through music.

Vision

To develop and perform new musical work based on a radical fusion of improvisation and established styles from diverse cultures.

Values

Respect, Courage and Artistry through Diversity.
