Andrea (she/her) is a multimedia artist and composer of Irish heritage with special interests in improvisation. In 2016 she co-founded the Hobart dance/arts collective Nelipot that strives to bring awareness to audiences through performances about climate change and social responsibility. She works as a therapist and educator in therapeutic arts practice, teaches performance improvisation and creates sound installations. She has a PhD in English Studies (UTas), a Bachelor of Music Hons (Composition and Performance, University of New England), Associate Diploma in Music (violin), Diploma of Teaching, Graduate Diploma in Creative Arts Therapy and a Graduate Certificate in Gestalt Therapy.
