Hayato is a professional oddball and musical chameleon, entertaining audiences worldwide. As a classical violinist, he has traveled across Australia, Europe, and Asia with various ensembles, including spending a decade with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. During this time he has appeared in many roles, including guest director, soloist, and presenter. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Hayato is a MONA regular, including being a core member of their high octane Tokyo Punk show which saw over 400 performances in nine months. Specializing in eurorack and live electronic hardware, he’s also an award-winning sound designer and producer. His projects have been showcased at Australian festivals including Esoteric, Unconformity, Synergy, Multiverse, Beaker Street, Questival, The Town, and Dark Mofo.
